A grade II listed building we had to use old traditional methods to bring this project together. We helped the client with the colour scheme throughout and used a mixture of dark and light tones that worked best in a Georgian property. We had our joiner make new cupboards and shelves in both bedrooms.
Greensmiths Supermarket, Waterloo
Working on an amazing building in the hub of Waterloo. Half of the building had old traditional lime based render and the other was rendered using modern sand and cement. When painting on Lime based render we needed to use a mineral based paint and the other half in Dulux Weathershield. All windows are finished in a pure brilliant white gloss the shop front was finished using Dulux trade Ultimate Opaque giving a satin finish.
Charles Yorke Kitchens / Furniture
Hand painted kitchens and furniture using Farrow and Ball Water-based eggshell in various colours
Primrose Hill
A beautiful Victorian 2 bedroom flat in the centre of Primrose Hill. Decorating the hallway, kitchen and bathrooms. We used a Farrow and Ball colour palette: of 'pointing' for the ceilings and woodwork and 'Ammonite' for the walls. Sanding the handrail back to bare wood and used bees wax to finish.
Castlehaven Road
When we began work at Castlehaven Road we discovered that the years of paintwork hid a multitude of sins. We stripped it back, repaired the masonry and woodwork damage and gave it all a thorough paint job using a mineral paint for the traditional lime based render.
Huddleston Road
After years of neglect on the woodwork in Huddelston Road, we spent a lot of time to bring it back to its former glory. Changing the lighting throughout whilst using a Pure brilliant white satin wood, this allowed the dark handrail pop out.
Bethnal Green
An amazing 2 bedroom flat sitting on the canal which needed a face lift up to lighten every room before new tenants move in.
Broadhurst Gardens
This commercial building in West Hampstead needed special attention to the window sills as some were in a terrible condition, these needed to be re-cast. All masonry was repaired, windows sealed and then all painted using White Dulux Weathershield.
Observatory Gardens
A one bedroom property situated in the middle of Kensington. We used Farrow and Ball 'Pointing' on the ceilings and woodwork instead of using a brilliant white.
Garden Furniture
All types of solid wood furniture can be restored. These tables and chairs had been weathered for years. To bring these back to life we stripped them back to bare wood and applied a danish oil, finishing off with wire wool.
